The Lust List... River Island...

Lately I have found myself wondering in to River Island not expecting to find much, but being pleasantly surprised by the fashionable array on offer. Yet again I tease myself with all the things I want but simply cannot afford at the moment! But here's a few for you to lust over too...

The Lust List... Topshop

I like a lot of Topshop's stuff, but unfortunately being the penniless student that I currently am, I find parting with £50 for one dress devastating...


Definitely does not stop me looking and loving it though!!!

I am officially in love with this dress... The slight (but not over-the-top/in-your-face) cut out sides is sexy and fresh. This is on the must-have list!

Unfortunatly at £75 this one will have to stay on the lust list :( I really like the subtle print and perfect colours for the summer. A mixture of nudes, florals, maxi, and sexy.... What more could us girls want?

Final Major Project: Sophia Tutorial 3...

Todays tutorial went really well, I showed Sophia my plans for a questionnaire and she was rather impressed. She gave me a few extra questions to consider, and other interesting facts I might want to learn about the customers, but overall she was pleased with my developments.

I plan to create the questionnaire and then ask Vanya ever so nicely if I can put it on her blog for the customers to answer. Sophia thinks that I should try and make it personal and friendly, rather than work based, for example asking the customers to answer it because me and Vanya want to know them as people. I think this is a brilliant idea, and plan to come up with something super friendly, so each customer feels special and wanted. This would make me more enthusiastic to do a boring questionnaire! :)


I also showed Sophia the start of my SWOT analysis... God these are boring. Boring but necessary.


I have to outline the Strengths and Weaknesses of the brand and the Opportunities and Threats to the brand. Heres a brief outline...


Strengths

• Hand-made

• Crafty
• Personal touch to each order
• Online shop & retail stockists

Weaknesses

• Lots of competitors

• Other cheaper competitors
• Competitors personal touches
• Becoming less popular = less demand
• People preferring to physically view the products before buying

All of these points are based on the Jewellery by Vanya brand, which is what my final major project is based on. Hopefully between Vanya and myself, not only will we be able to improve the branding website, but also further promote and better the brand itself. (And get me a good mark for my work)

O I have fallen! Hard and fast, in love with Tree & Kimball. 

They make the most amazing jewellery, using lace and a vintage look, which I simply cannot get out of my head or heart!!

Not only is coral/orange a personal favourite colour, but adding a touch of the colour to an outfit, for example by shoes :) is the perfect way to brighten up your outfit and day!! :D 
The coral brogues are a super day shoe, comfy and fun... The orange wedges are divine with the extra luxury of a gold snakeskin leather detail strip. And last but not least, the intense black and white print, mixed with the on trend  heel is a definite YES!

The Lust List... Emma Louise Millinery...

So as you may have read my dear friend Robyn is engaged.. Yayy :)
This means not only the chance to wear a gorgeous dress and attend a lovely wedding, but is also a chance to wear a sensational hat, or more popular nowadays: A Fascinator.
