The Lust List... A|wear.com

I don't know why I do it to myself... I really don't!


I spend agessss online, wondering through the online stores of places like Topshop, River Island, Office (Shoes are my weakness), Kandee Shoes, Jewellery by Vanya, A|wear and many more, just to find loads of things I have fallen in love with, but can not buy due to my lack of funds! :(

I'll share a few of my favourite finds with you, and continue saving madly... hopefully you'll find something fabulous you can spend a few pennies on!


Like I mentioned in a previous post, I was pleasantly surprised, and rather impressed, by A|wear's latest fashion do's. I had previous preconceptions that did not show A|wear in a very good light, but recently this has changed, and now the spotlight is fully on them!!!

With a few new ranges worthy of the summer sun, I have started to find myself drawn in by the A|wear collection. Gorgeous shapes and bold block colours, and all at a affordable price, what's not to love :)


One area definitely worth checking out, in my opinion, is The Boutique Closet, which hosts Mad Men inspired 1950's silhouettes, in a range of gorgeous vibrant colours. Heres a few of my personal favs...

These Boutique prices are not super dooper low, but they are definitely competitive and I love the simple style.


They a gorgeous range of shorts, and a few fabulous trousers too!

The most disappointing thing is that awear.com don't tell you the size of the bags, and there is only one picture per bag, doesn't really make me 100% happy to buy :( But I am a lover none the less!


Not everyone's cup of tea I know.... but a definite summer wardrobe booster for me!

These are absolutely GORGEOUS!! Slightly greener (rather than yellow) than they look in this pic. Sky high and stunning, what more can a girl ask for!? 


The Kandee team are constantly updating their Twitter and Facebook with sneak peeks into the up-and-coming designs and I am in love with toooo many to count!


Another "Must-save-moment" as I find my self desperate for another Kandee fix!!! :D

The Final Major Project...

The presentation of ideas begins today...


I had been thinking over christmas what I should be doing for my final major, and the decision was a tough one!


Still unsure of exactly what I wanted to do, I proposed a mixture of ideas in my presentation to the tutors on the judges panel.

My ideas ranged from an editorial for Kandee Shoes, keeping up the super sweet theme! To working closely with Vanya for her brand, Jewellery by Vanya, on a look book, web design, event and film to promote the brand. 


The overall consensus from the panel was good, they were impressed with my ideas and felt some of them could work really well. They did however feel that all this was too much to handle and that I should pick a few aspects of my proposal to focus on and make really strong. 


Due to the fact that I had contacted Kandee Shoes asking for support, but had unfortunately not received any, despite Josh Wayman's best efforts, I decided the best option for my final major project would be to focus on Jewellry by Vanya. 


I then decided to go with my strongest skills, and that was the lookbook, web site ideas, rather than the short film. Although I think a short film could work well for the brand and look truly lovely on the site, I am less skilled in this area and feel along with my other work load I would not have enough time to do it justice...


The work continues, the ideas are flowing...

Where It All Began...

My Birthday!!!!


I have been meaning to start this blog forever!!!
But as usual I been amongst a whirlwind of things, preventing me from doing so! :(


So today is the day! My birthday, and when better to start my blog!


For my birthday I was lucky enough to get lots of lovely gifts, like this wooden heart from my bestie Robyn. <3

My boyfriend spoilt me rotten and bought me the most amazing pair of Kandee Shoes!!!

These beauties are my Cherry Bombs, and I love them!!!! :D Admittedly they are not the most comfortable shoes ever.... but where's beauty without a little pain now and again!!!

I had a fabulous evening wearing them out for cocktails with my friends and they all commented on how amazing they are.
